Using the beta
Gold Star is an early Android beta from Strawberry Pop Studios for a small trusted tester group. Use it only if you can lawfully agree to these terms. Minimum age, eligibility rules, operator legal identity, and any consent requirements need owner and legal review before broader onboarding.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in access, and tell support if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Do not share credentials or impersonate another person.
Acceptable use
Do not use Gold Star for harassment, coercion, threats, unlawful activity, exploitation, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not bypass access controls, misuse invitations, attack the service, or access another person’s private data.
Your content and your shared space
You remain responsible for the text, images, GIF selections, and other content you provide. Upload only content you have the right to share. You permit the processing and display needed to provide the features you choose to use; the scope of any formal content license remains subject to legal review.
Pairing connects separate accounts to shared features. Partners may see shared activity, history, rewards, demerits where configured, milestones, and prizes. Agree together on how you use these features. Gold Star is not professional relationship, health, or crisis advice and does not guarantee relationship outcomes.
Beta limitations and availability
Features may change, fail, or become unavailable. Data may be incomplete or lost, and notifications may be delayed. Keep independent copies of information that matters to you. Updates are currently delivered by APK sideload; Google Play availability is not promised. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular release schedule.
Suspension, termination, and deletion
Access may be restricted to protect users and service security or respond to misuse. Normal-user account deletion is currently disabled. See Account deletion for availability and the intended process, including permanent deletion, minimal non-identifying survivor history, and final-member archive purge. Support messages do not automatically initiate deletion.
Intellectual property
Gold Star branding, software, and original artwork belong to their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of the app or its branding. Third-party media and software remain subject to their own rights and licenses.
Disclaimer — legal review required
The beta is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. Final warranty language and mandatory consumer protections require legal review. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability — legal review required
Beta participation involves the possibility of interruptions, errors, and data loss. Any enforceable liability limits, exclusions, and remedies must be reviewed for the applicable jurisdiction; this draft sets no monetary cap and makes no claim that liability is universally excluded.
Governing law and disputes — not finalized
The owner and legal adviser must determine appropriate governing-law, dispute-resolution, notice, and enforceability provisions. No jurisdiction or arbitration requirement is selected in this draft.
